Yanis Ourabah is initially an extreme sports photographer. Fascinated by mountain enthusiasts, it is during the winter season and armed with his camera, that he likes to capture them during extraordinary performances to immortalize their technical prowess.

However, putting his goal on hold during the summer season costs him. After a short period of reflection, he becomes aware of the many similarities between these mountain artists and these dance artists: the movements are clean, the gestures precise and the pace aerial. The dancers come to life in unexpected places in the city, the balances, the big throws or the whipped pirouettes come out of the walls of the theatres: Dance in Lyon is born, we are in 2012.

The artistic concept is sublime: to freeze in time starry dancers magnifying iconic places of the City of Lights. Through this work, Yanis combines art and grace for a rendering of stunning beauty.

Today, for his first exhibition in a hotel, Yanis Ourabah offers us two distinct opuses: the first is composed of a selection of photographs in which Lyon is staged, while the second presents the talented and beautiful Kristina Bentz evolving in the charming spaces of Cour des Loges*****.

This exhibition will be held from Friday 17 September to Sunday 31 October, an opportunity to discover or rediscover the Cour des Loges and to stroll between the Grande Cour, the Café-Epicerie and the Bar-Fumoir to discover these exceptional photographs.
